WSA HISTORY

The World Soccer Academy was established in 2001, by Eduardo Badescu and his partners Constantin Ignat and William Rosales.

The Academy has provided a first class soccer development program for young players who wish to significantly advance their soccer skills and knowledge of the game. Countless young players enhanced their enjoyment of the game as they progressed through their soccer years, due to the care and direction they found at the Academy. Many continue to reach for the heights that our game provides.

“Our Mission is to provide world class soccer training to every child with an opportunity to play soccer at his/her highest level in a safe and supportive environment that encourages the development of soccer skills and the love of the game”

As a leader and innovator within the Winnipeg and Manitoba soccer community, the World Soccer Academy saw a PDL team as the next step in developing the game in Winnipeg. The World Soccer Academy is now beginning a new chapter in our soccer history with Winnipeg’s new entry in the USL’s PDL league, WSA Winnipeg.
