WSA Winnipeg begins Training Camp

Practices begin February 6th

The start of the PDL season may still be months away, but for the players who will be lacing up their kits for the homeside in 2012, their journey begins now.

This is what Coach Badescu had to say to the players as preseason begins:

"Be true to the game, because the game will be true to you. If you try to shortcut the game, then the game will shortcut you. If you put forth the effort, good things will be bestowed upon you. That's truly about the game, and in some ways that's about life too."

There are big expectations as the club prepares for its second season. As the saying goes, every great journey begins with a tentative first step.
