Game Two:  Wednesday August 28, 2013 • Winnipeg Outdoor Soccer Complex • Kick-off at 4:30 pm 


 

WSA Winnipeg and the University of Winnipeg Wesmen will play a pair of official exhibition games this month. The first game is on August 22nd and the second game will be on August 28th both at the Winnipeg Outdoor Soccer Complex on Waverley.

The Wesmen are preparing for their upcoming CIS season while the WSA Winnipeg are enjoying some off-season training.  In fact, Ryan Ramjiawan, Jordan Smith and goalie Tyson Farago WSA Winnipeg regular players are now playing for the Wesmen. 

These exhibition games help to highlight the important role that Premier Development League (PDL) team WSA Winnipeg provides for players and other high level leagues in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and beyond.

WSA Winnipeg provides access to a superior level of training and competition for developing athletes.  The training and competition provided by WSA Winnipeg “bridges the gap” between youth soccer and the elite levels of soccer around the world. Enabling young athletes to continue to advance their skills and abilities while on the road to higher levels of soccer in Winnipeg, Canada and indeed around the world. Players such as Ryan Ramjiawan, Jordan Smith and Tyson Farago, among others, prove this point as each player had an outstanding year during the 2013 PDL season with WSA Winnipeg. Indeed goalie Tyson Farago was selected to the Central Division PDL All-Conference team.

So come out and enjoy a pair of exciting games as the Wesmen crank up their new season and WSA Winnipeg begins preparations to find the players that will join the team for the 2014 PDL season.
