Last Home Games of 2013

Play-Off hopes still alive

Coach_Badescu.pngWSA Winnipeg will play their final two scheduled home games of the 2013 season against the Kansas City Brass this weekend.  This will be the last time you will be able to see your home team at home this year unless they make the play-offs.  WSA finishes the 2013 regular season on the road with their final two games in Thunder Bay on July 19 and July 20.

Kansas City Brass (3-3-1) lost to WSA Winnipeg 3 - 0 on their last meeting on June 11 at Overland Park Soccer Complex in Kansas City.

"We will likely need 10 of the last 12 points available to us to make the play-offs this year," said Coach Badescu.  "It is a huge challenge, but one we are ready to accept."  Coach Badescu continued, "We will approach each game with a commitment and determination to win the game at hand and not worry about the next game until we play it."

Do not miss the action!  Kick off is on Saturday, July 6 is at 7:00 pm and Sunday, July 7 at 2:00 pm.  Both games are at the Waverley Complex.
