WSA Winnipeg and MMSL make supporting Inner City Youth a Tradition

City’s Elite Soccer Club and Elite League partner again to bring beautiful game to inner city youth

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA – The Manitoba Major Soccer League (MMSL) together with WSA Winnipeg have generously donated over one thousand tickets to Winnipeg Inner City Programs for the June 30th PDL soccer game between WSA Winnipeg and the Real Colorado Foxes.  Families, fans, young and old soccer players from the Winnipeg's Inner City will be able to enjoy the beautiful game at the Winnipeg Outdoor Soccer Complex on Waverley.  This is the second year that the MMSL has been involved with this WSA Winnipeg program.

The Manitoba Major Soccer League is Manitoba's largest soccer league with over 100 soccer teams participating in 10 divisions and has partnered with WSA Winnipeg to provide the PDL team with some exciting young soccer players.  The MMSL has produced three National Championship Teams since 2000.  This relationship benefits both organizations by developing Winnipeg's young talented soccer players.

The two soccer organizations have worked with the United Way Winnipeg, West Broadway Youth Outreach and other inner city charities to give young fans an opportunity to be inspired by the highest level of soccer in the city. WSA Winnipeg and the MMSL believe that this ticket donation program is a way for soccer to give back to the community promoting healthy athletic pursuits, having some fun and hopefully inspiring some young soccer players.

WSA Winnipeg, after returning from a recent road trip, is in the hunt for a play-off spot that will ensure that the June 30th game versus the Foxes will be extremely exciting.  Summers are short in Winnipeg, so get out to the WSF complex and enjoy some top notch soccer, the beautiful summer weather and a home team win!
